kaelen Chacon


Kaelen attended the Sandra Day O’Connor School of Law at Arizona State University and graduated in May 2015 and was admitted to the New Mexico State Bar in November 2016. While in Law School, Kaelen was chosen to participate in the Lodestar Mediation Clinic, where she became a Court-Certified Mediator and has performed multiple mediations for Superior Court.  She was also an active member of the Chicano/Latino Law Students Association and the Women Law Students Association. 

Prior to attending Law School, Kaelen attended Point Loma Nazarene University in San Diego, California, where she graduated with a BA in Communication with a Minor in Spanish.  Kaelen speaks Spanish fluently, and has acted as a translator, both in and out of court, for the past few years.  Kaelen has worked in the legal field as a paralegal for the past 12 years in the areas of commercial and residential real estate, as well as corporate business law. 


CONCENTRATIONS: Creditor representation, including foreclosure, bankruptcy, collections, replevin, evictions, Truth in Lending laws, Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, business law, and contract law.
