Elizabeth Mason

Elizabeth Mason has been representing financial institutions, lenders, investors, mortgage servicers, title companies, and other real estate concerns since she was admitted to the New Mexico bar in 1984. Beginning in 1989, she has concentrated her practice in the area of residential mortgage foreclosures and related actions. The managing attorney for the New Mexico office of the LOGS network from 1989 through 1993, Ms. Mason established Elizabeth Mason, P.C., in 1994. In 2010 she became managing attorney of the New Mexico office of the Castle Law Group, LLC, and was New Mexico underwriting counsel for First American Title Insurance Company from 2015 to 2018.

Ms. Mason received her B.A. from the University of California, Berkeley, in 1980, where she graduated with honors and with distinction in general scholarship, and her J.D. degree from Washington University School of Law, where she was a staff member of the Journal of Urban and Contemporary Law, a recipient of the Edna Fisse Scholarship, as well as a Thompson & Mitchell Research Fellow. Ms. Mason is AV® Peer Review Rated by Martindale-Hubbell, which is the publication's most significant accomplishment, placing a lawyer at the highest level of professional excellence. She is admitted to practice in all of the state and federal courts in the State of New Mexico.

Ms. Mason has served on the Board of Directors of the American Legal and Financial Network and was a select member of the Wingspan Portfolio Advisors' attorney group. She has presented numerous seminars on foreclosures and collections law and procedure, and is recognized by the members of the New Mexico bar as a "Foreclosure Queen" (surprisingly, however, this is not an official designation by the New Mexico Bar Association).
